COVID-19 Response Protocol

From Dr. Sultan & staff

Like many of our colleagues, patients, and friends, we have been concerned with how to manage our office and how to continue with our quality care of our patients during this crisis – COVID19.

We will be taking extra precautionary steps to protect staff and patients, therefore, we will adjust our schedule to ensure that we can practice responsibly yet continue our quality of care.

cleaning protocols

Based on the most recent data on Napa’s COVID cases, we would like to emphasize and
ask all of our patients and customers, to continue to adhere to the protocols that we
have outlined below. As we work together and support and cooperate with one another,
our goal is to stay open and continue to serve you and our community.

We will continue to provide comprehensive eye health and vision care under the local,
state, and national guidelines.

This includes:
• Staff members and patients to wear masks.
• Staggering appointments to enhance physical distancing by 6ft.
• Patients – PLEASE DO NOT BRING UNESSENTIAL PERSONS TO YOUR
APPOINTMENTS.
• No more than SIX (6) patients in the waiting area – if more than six in the
waiting area you may be asked to wait in the car or, if weather allows,
chairs and tables may be available outside.
• Temperatures will be taken prior to checking in.

We continue to aggressively follow cleaning procedures to include a thorough
disinfecting of the entire practice regularly: all surfaces, pretest room, and all equipment,
frames, charts, pens, and more, following every patient interaction.

Screening procedures can include questioning if the patient has experienced any
symptoms of COVID-19: Cough, Shortness of breath, Muscle aches, Loss of taste or smell.

Patients Picking up eyewear: Patients will be asked to please call 707 254 2020 for our
most current hours and the best time to pick up your eyewear and / or contact lens
order.

For the safety of patients and staff, there will be no more than SIX (6) patients allowed in
the waiting area at one time. Staff can deliver eyewear to patients in their car or again,
set a specific time/appointment for the pickup of eyewear.

We look forward to seeing you and hope you, your family, and friends continue to be safe
and healthy.
