Dr. Craig Sultan, (O.D.), is a graduate from the State University of New York College of Optometry. He also has a Masters Degree in Immunology from U.C. Davis. Dr. Sultan has practiced in the Bay Area for more than 30 years and in the Napa / Solano area for 19 years. As a resident of Napa for over 11 years, he opened The Eye Works in downtown Napa to fill the need for:
- a full-service vision care facility with
- competent staff who provide strong customer service skills
- alternatives in vision correction including Low Vision services
- optical dispensing with thousands of choices at the same place you get your eye exam.
- Convenient hours – 6 days a week – a convenient location on the corner of First and Main Streets
As a Doctor of Optometry, part of my commitment to my patients is ongoing professional education. As technology and the world around us changes, we keep up-dated because we desire to provide the best care possible for our patients. The Eye Works represents the latest in technology, including the ability to TRY ON thousands of frames and hundreds of different colored contact lenses, using our state-of-the-art virtual TRY-ON program. Imagine, no more wondering how you’ll look in your new eyewear or contact lenses – you can view yourself in hundred’s and hundred’s of designer frames.
Dr. Patrick Casey, (O.D.), is a Napa local and has been practicing in the community for the past four years. He is a primary care optometrist who boasts a wide range of skills, including a primary focus on medical eye disease and surgical co-management. Other skills include providing advanced contact lens options, pediatric exams and offering a cutting edge variety of special lens options and stylish frames. He is a dedicated eye care professional with a passion for his patients and the Napa Valley area.
Dr. Casey was born in Jackson, Michigan and raised in Columbus, Ohio, where most of his family currently resides. He received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University where he majored in finance and accounting. Dr. Casey then transplanted to the Bay Area where he completed his training at UC Berkeley School of Optometry. He received advance training as an intern at the University of Miami’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Bascam Palmer is one of the most world renowned eye care hospitals and has continually been ranked number one by US News and World Report for many years standing.
Dr. Casey is a board certified optometrist and is affiliated with numerous professional organizations including the American Optometric Association (AOA), the California Optometric Association (COA), the American Academy of Optometry (AAO), the Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists (CLAO), and the Infant See Program.
Furthermore, Dr. Casey thoroughly enjoys his involvement in the local neighborhood through the Kiwanis Club and the 20-30 Club. He is a strong supporter of the Napa School system and follows the local sports teams.
